Based on the need expressed by our Advisory Board of School of Accountancy, alumni, and students, the School of Accountancy of Shidler College started offering live and free CPA review classes in 2014. The School offered these prep classes to UHM graduates and all who resided in the State of Hawaii. The SOA continued offering these classes until the number of students dropped to below five in the Fall of 2017, which meant that the need for live classes was no longer in the market, and students were getting prepared using online materials. The last live CPA offering concluded by the "Auditing and Attestation" section on June 28, 2017.

MAcc students may take the online CPA review courses and earn the University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate credits used towards their MAcc degree.
