“We are pleased that we are once again recognized for international business at a time when other top universities are developing similar programs to stay competitive. We have long believed that students’ exposure to international business enhances their overall business perspective and strengthens their professional careers,” says V. Vance Roley, dean of the Shidler College of Business. “That is why we continue to invest in all of our programs to improve the quality of our students, professors, curriculum and students’ overall college experience.”

In the last year, the College was renamed the Shidler College of Business, after alumnus and real estate entrepreneur Jay Shidler who donated over $25 million to the College. Currently, there are over 1,200 undergraduate students enrolled at the Shidler College of Business. Data shows 51 percent of the business students are male, 9 percent are international students and class sizes remain at an average of 30 per class. Last year, the College’s Office of Internships and Career Development placed over 230 undergraduate students in internships.

The College’s undergraduate international business program has been consistently ranked in the top 20 for the past several years. This year, U.S.News & World Report ranked the Shidler College of Business graduate program for international business in the top 25 acknowledging both the undergraduate and graduate international business programs among the best in the nation.
