To receive credits towards your BUS Core or BBA Major, only courses that have been pre-approved by the Shidler College of Business and listed on this website are applicable.
The Shidler College of Business offers a wide range of partner schools, as well as pre-approved course equivalencies. The course equivalency lists do not guarantee that the course will be offered during your semester abroad, any prerequisites that may be required by the partner institution, and it may not include all available courses. If there is a course that is not listed and you would like to inquire about course equivalency:

While looking for classes to complete abroad, students are responsible for the following:
Shidler Residency: After admission, students must complete:
*A minimum of 24 credits of 300+ level business coursework at the Shidler College of Business;
*A minimum of 9 credits within each business major at the Shidler College of Business.
For example, if a MGT major completes the equivalent of HRM 351, MGT 320, and MGT 343 abroad, only two courses may count towards their BBA degree upon return. In this example, HRM 351 and MGT 320 would be the two courses that count since they are both required for the MGT major. The MGT 343 would still count as credit towards the minimum 120 earned credits needed for the BBA degree, but would not be applicable towards fulfilling MGT major requirements.
Students who enroll in an equivalent of MKT 391 abroad, must have already successfully completed both MKT 311 and MKT 321 in order to receive MKT 391 credit.
BUS 367(Alpha) Legend:The course designations for BUS 367 are as follows:
C – Accounting
D – Management Information Systems (MIS)
F – Finance
G – Management
I – International Business
K – Marketing
M – Human Resources
R – Real Estate
BUS 367(alpha) courses are applicable towards the specific major elective. For example, BUS 367G is only applicable to a MGT major elective and cannot fulfill a MKT major elective, which would be BUS 367K. However, if a MKT major completes BUS 367G, it can count towards the minimum 120 earned credits to graduate and may fulfill an upper-division elective (please verify with your academic advisor).
