Shidler College of Business Ranked Among the Nation's Top International Business Programs for 2010
In April 2009, Shidler’s graduate program was named one of the top 25 graduate programs for International Business by U.S. News & World Report’s survey of America’s Best Graduate Schools for 2010. The College was ranked 21st tied with Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. Among the public schools that made the list, Shidler was ranked ninth.
The College’s undergraduate program currently ranks 12th in International Business by U.S. News & World Report along with top business schools such as Berkeley, University of Michigan, New York University and the University of Pennsylvania. The program is also listed in the overall rankings for U.S. News' "Best Undergraduate Business Programs."
"We are really pleased that our continued emphasis on a high-quality international business program is paying off with this kind of recognition," says Dean of the UHM Shidler College of Business Vance Roley. "This represents a significant improvement in the rankings, and this further supports our top 25 international business ranking for our undergraduate and MBA programs."
The ranking is based on two types of data: expert opinion about program quality and statistical indicators that measure the quality of faculty, research and students, and is based on an annual survey of business Deans from AACSB accredited programs.
