Scholarship Information for Prospective Graduate Students

All applicants are considered for scholarship awards upon their receipt. No scholarship application is necessary. Scholarship monies available include but are not limited to the following:

Shidler International Excellence Scholarships

University of Hawai’i business student alumni Jay Shidler generously donated over $1,000,000 in scholarship aid to further advance the academic pursuits of entering graduate business students in the Fall 2009 semester.

Shidler International Excellence Scholarships are awarded to entering MBA students only based on merit.

To apply for scholarships, applicants must submit the following:

  1. Application to a Shidler College of Business Graduate Program
  2. GMAT score (All applicant s must have taken the GMAT—no exceptions)
  3. All transcripts/grades
  4. Current resume
  5. Personal statement

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for all entering graduate business students who have demonstrated academic excellence and/or financial need. All applicants who are accepted into the program will be considered for scholarships. Applicants do not need to submit a separate scholarship application.

Included on the website is a link to the federal government's FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) which you may submit on-line. Asian Development Bank Scholarships

The East-West Center promotes understanding and cooperation among the governments and peoples of Asia, the Pacific, and the United States through research, education and seminar programs. Through a grant from the Asian Development Bank, the Center grants scholarships to degree fellows from all over the region through various scholarship programs, for studies at the University of Hawai’i.
